The Winter Solstice approaches…

The rain has stopped here in Devon athough the rivers are still high. Suddenly the temperatures have dropped and festivity and frost  is in the air. The Totnes evening markets, our village craft fair, the Dartington Printmakers ‘Off the Peg’ annual festive sale and many more fairs and celebrations are just around the corner …… it is a very creative, communicative  and busy time of the year . This month is the  Winter Solstice (Yule) and  Christmas and Hannukkah…and like  so many of the ancient festivals celebrated at this time of the year they all centre around ‘The Coming of the Light” ……which is the essence (and humour) of my last Wheel of the Year Print. Enjoy your celebrations . Blessed Be x
