This year is a continuation of 2 ongoing projects. One an exploration of feminine myths, stories and poems that reflect the sacred in ancient times but also still have a strong resonance within our contemporary lives in a sacred, secular or psychological way. Secondly an exploration of the ancient art of Alchemy with Jungian reflections. These 2 projects converge in many ways.

Pasithea – is an ancient Greek Goddess – she was the personification of meditation, relaxation, visions and hallucinations. She is associated with the poppy flower and its power of journey into the realms of dreams. Her partner was the God Hypnos – god of sleep.

Sophia , Goddess of Wisdom.. As a Goddess she has remarkable similarities to the great Egyptian Goddess Isis. Many believe that the concept of Sophia was built upon the identity of Isis.

Map-woman – inspired by the poem of the same name by Carol Ann Duffy from her book “The feminine Gospels”
